Gobinda K.C. is an accomplished aviation professional and a dedicated Executive Member of Nepal China Academy. With a strong academic background in physics and extensive experience in commercial aviation, he brings analytical thinking, technical expertise, and leadership to the Academy’s mission of promoting Nepal–China friendship and cooperation.

A New Generation of Cultural Ambassadors

He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Tri-Chandra Campus, one of Nepal’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education. His studies in physics provided him with a solid scientific foundation, fostering precision, discipline, and problem-solving skills that have been instrumental throughout his aviation career.

Professionally, Captain K.C. serves as a Pilot of the ATR 72 with a private airline in Nepal. As a commercial airline pilot operating one of the country’s most widely used regional aircraft, he has earned a reputation for professionalism, technical competence, and an unwavering commitment to flight safety. His experience in connecting diverse regions of Nepal has further strengthened his understanding of the country’s geography, people, and development needs.

As an Executive Member of Nepal China Academy, Captain K.C. actively supports the Academy’s vision of enhancing the longstanding friendship between Nepal and the People’s Republic of China. He is committed to advancing people-to-people exchanges, educational collaboration, cultural understanding, tourism promotion, and professional cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

Captain K.C. believes that stronger international friendships are built through mutual respect, continuous dialogue, and practical cooperation. Through his professional expertise and dedication to public service, he contributes to Nepal China Academy’s efforts to foster closer ties and create new opportunities for collaboration between the peoples of Nepal and China.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and coordinating youth engagement programs and student exchange initiatives
  • Promoting Chinese language learning through workshops, conversation clubs, and educational partnerships
  • Managing the Academy’s social media presence and digital communications

When a young person from Pokhara learns to read a Tang dynasty poem in its original characters, or when a student from Chengdu learns to say “namaste” with the right inflection — that is where real friendship begins.
