The fourth executive committee led Nepal China Academy from 2021 to 2026, introducing the Chinese language promotion program in cooperation with Confucius Institute in Kathmandu University, launching structured youth engagement initiatives, and steering the institution through the unprecedented challenges of the global pandemic.

Language as a Bridge

Within two years, the program enrolled over 50 learners across four cohorts, with completion rates consistently above seventy percent — a testament to the quality of instruction and the genuine demand for Mandarin proficiency among young Nepalis seeking academic and professional opportunities connected to China.

Youth Engagement and New Generations

Recognizing that the Academy’s future depended on engaging younger generations, the fourth committee is fully comprised of youth below 40 years of age. The young professionals to discuss shared challenges in education, technology, entrepreneurship, and environmental stewardship.

The fourth committee’s has recently transitioned to the present committee with slight reform in executive committee. It categorized membership in four levels: Patron, Honorary, General and Associate Membership. It honored high level dignitaries respecting their contribution to Nepal China bilateral relation from different platforms with Patron and Honorary Membership. It also started to address the larger mass of youth in different profession for their representation in academy via Associate Membership. The expanded numbers of membership has been more than two hundred individuals. Besides, it also established the digital infrastructure — website, social media presence, and online event platform — that the Academy continues to build upon today.
